Hmm, that's odd - thanks for trying it out though. If you'd like you can e-mail support and they can look into the issue you're running into.

This works on both my Vista Business installation running Outlook 2007 AND on running Vista in MAC OSx with Parallels. I haven't "tested" it yet, but the menus show up, the installation went fine, etc.

will it be possible to see in the contact´s list the icon of plaxo in the contacts that have plaxo?

i had the outlook express and in that version was possible to see that icon, and it was very helpful.

In the Outlook 2007 the beta plaxo version is working but is not possible to see that icon in the list, and the photos of the contacts are not shown at first sight.. its necessary to click in the arrow to open the photo.

I have vista and as you know that doesnt include OE, but it has been replaced with windows mail...can you please make a version for that to, as i think vista users are ever growing...

Does this beta version work with the new Windows Mail? I just bought laptop with Vista and the mail programs is Windows Mail not Outlook or Express. Is Outlook 2007 the same as Windows Mail? I've seem both mentioned.

after upgrade (I have office 2007) my plaxo is updated on web but sill not on Outlook (for recent updates (a friend is now plaxo client and responded to my request, and outlook still indicates as "sent an info" only???

I just bought a Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop which came pre-installed with Office 2007; Outlook 2007 would not function properly no matter what I did and no matter what Dell Tech Support did. You'd type an email and the words would show up (for example) 15 seconds AFTER you finished typing. Very maddeningly slow. So I uninstalled Office 2007 and (with Dell's permission) installed my copy of Office 2003 which had come with my Dell XPS 600 desktop. Well, Outlook works fine now - no delays, everything's hunky-dory - EXCEPT that it will not communicate with Plaxo! Yes, I DL'ed the Beta from the link on this page - still won't work. C'mon, Plaxo - you have such a great program - can't you find a fix!?!?!

I too have a brand new Dell Inspiron E1705 with Windows Vista Ultimate (love it by the way). It's very frustrating that I can't use Plaxo with Windows Mail. I would have suspected that the Plaxo team would have had this developed by now. It would really be nice if you could get this done.

I have a Toshiba U205 with Vista home Pro. This patch isn't working with Windows Mail (which is what my laptop came with.)

Please sort it out. I was thinking of upgrading, but with this level of support I think it to be a waste of money now. I would suggest anyone thinking of buying this program to rethink based on this absurd Vista roll out.

Brand new Vista install and Office 2007. I've tried several times but there is no Plaxo menu or functionality at all. Hopefully a new revision is posted soon; amazing to me that Vista is released on all new computers and they only have this poorly tested beta version at this point.

Hi everyone - we are working on a version that works with Windows Mail. We hope to have a beta version soon. For those of you having issues w/ Outlook 2007, if the latest version isn't working, you can email support and they'll look into it.

Are you going to support Outlook 2003 on Vista? I am willing to wait if so, if not, then I need to look for another solution. Possibly without Plaxo :-(

Im really frustrated that you still do not have a version of plaxo for windows vista and or windows mail. I wanted to upgrade my plaxo but now that I run windows mail I cannot use my plaxo at all. Can you please let me know if you will be addressing this issue anytime soon or should I find something that works with Vista and windows mail elsewhere? Thank you, Lori Galloza

Did not work for me- I am using Office XP (SP3) on Vista Business, desparately need this (beta or otherwise:)

When Outlook XP starts, a message window opens saying "Plaxo was unable to communicate with Outlok properly and will be unavailable. Please contact customer support at ...."
